Never a Clown
Live Theatrical Halloween Show
When a casual brainstorm about this season's Halloween costume crosses the line, a single Mom decides to tell her only child the truth about his father's disappearance. Never a Clown is a twisted little tale designed for immature audiences of all ages.
Based on a poem by the same name, Never a Clown is an intimate and offbeat story reinterpreted as live street theater for happy Halloweeners. This modern black comedy plays with the secrets that parents and children keep from each other.
Never a Clown was performed live 40 times to capacity audiences in Cole Valley, San Francisco, October 30 and 31, 2021. It entertained the community and raised over $1300 in donations for the San Francisco / Marin Food Bank where every dollar buys two meals for hungry human beings.
